Pre-shipment inspection (PSI)

What is Pre-shipment inspection?

A third-party or buyer-side check of quantity, labelling, packaging and visible quality before the goods leave Korea, usually against an AQL sampling standard. Far cheaper than discovering a wrong batch code or a missing importer address after the container has landed, when your only remedies are a rework or a claim.
