CFS (Certificate of Free Sale)

What is CFS?

An official certificate stating that a product is freely sold in its country of origin, issued in Korea by the MFDS or a designated association. Many importing countries in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America require a notarised and legalised CFS before registration — legalisation through an embassy can take weeks, so start it early.
