What is Green claims rules?

Tightening rules across the EU and other markets against vague environmental claims such as "eco-friendly", "climate neutral" or unqualified "natural". The direction of travel is that a claim must be specific and substantiated — "50% post-consumer recycled bottle" rather than "sustainable packaging". Retailers are applying this ahead of the law.
