What is Microplastics restriction?

The EU restriction on intentionally added synthetic polymer microparticles removes rinse-off microbeads and, on staged deadlines, affects leave-on products and glitter. It is a formulation issue for scrubs and shimmer products in particular, and reformulation is usually needed rather than a labelling change.
