What is Positive / negative ingredient list?

Regulator-maintained lists of ingredients that are permitted — often with concentration limits and conditions of use — or prohibited outright. They differ by market: a UV filter, preservative or colourant legal in Korea may be restricted in the EU and simply unlisted in China. This is the single most common reason a proven Korean formula cannot ship to a new market as-is.
