PA rating

What is PA rating?

The Japanese-origin UVA protection grade, from PA+ to PA++++, used on Korean and Japanese sunscreens. The EU expresses UVA protection with a circled UVA logo and the US with "broad spectrum", so a UVA claim generally has to be re-expressed — and sometimes re-tested — for each market.
