What is SPF?

Sun Protection Factor, the measure of UVB protection, determined by an approved in-vivo or in-vitro test method. Test methods and permissible label values differ by market, so a Korean SPF50+ result does not automatically transfer to a US, EU or Australian label — the test may have to be repeated to that market's protocol.
