Trial order

What is Trial order?

A reduced first production order used to test sell-through before scaling. Suppliers will often accept a below-MOQ trial order at a higher unit price, or against a written commitment for the follow-up quantity — the premium buys you real market data instead of a warehouse full of assumption.
