Lead time

What is Lead time?

The elapsed time from confirmed order to goods ready for shipment. For Korean cosmetics it typically runs four to eight weeks on a stock ODM formula, and twelve weeks or more where custom packaging, artwork approval, a new safety assessment or a market registration sits on the critical path. Ask which step is longest — it is usually artwork or regulatory, not production.
