MSQ (Minimum Shipment Quantity)

What is MSQ?

The smallest quantity that can move in one consignment, which is not always the same as the MOQ. A supplier may accept a 3,000-unit MOQ but require it to ship as a single 3,000-unit consignment rather than in monthly releases. Confirm both numbers before planning cash flow — MOQ governs what you buy, MSQ governs when you pay for freight.
