FCL (Full Container Load)

What is FCL?

Ocean freight where you book a whole 20ft or 40ft container. Cheaper per unit than LCL once volume justifies it, with fewer handling touchpoints and a simpler claims path if something goes wrong. A 20ft container holds roughly 28 CBM of cartons in practice.
