What is Patch test?

A dermatological skin-irritation test on human panellists, and the usual basis for "dermatologist tested" or "hypoallergenic"-style claims. The report names the institute, the panel size and the duration — all three matter when a retailer audits the claim, and a 20-person panel does not support the same claim as a 200-person one.
