What is Peptide?

Short amino-acid chains used for firmness and wrinkle claims — copper tripeptide-1, acetyl hexapeptide-8, palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and many others. They are used at very low percentages, so their position near the end of an INCI list is normal rather than damning. Ask for the supplier's efficacy data instead of reading the list.
