PFAS restriction

What is PFAS restriction?

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, used in some long-wear and water-resistant formulas, are being restricted across the EU and several US states, with disclosure and phase-out obligations arriving at different dates per jurisdiction. Confirm PFAS-free status in writing from the manufacturer rather than inferring it from the INCI list, since some come in through raw-material impurities.
