What is Safety assessment?

A documented evaluation that a formula is safe for its intended use at the declared concentrations and exposure levels. It is mandatory in the EU and the UK, required as "adequate substantiation of safety" under US MoCRA, and required in full for Chinese registration and filing — and retailers increasingly ask for it regardless of what the law says.
