What is Preservative system?
The ingredients preventing microbial growth over a product's shelf life — commonly phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, organic acids, or 1,2-hexanediol in Korean formulas. Permitted preservatives and their limits are market-specific, and effectiveness is proven by a challenge test, not by what the INCI list looks like.
