Fragrance allergen declaration

What is Fragrance allergen declaration?

The EU obligation to name specified fragrance allergens individually on the label once they exceed 0.001% in leave-on or 0.01% in rinse-off products.

Why does Fragrance allergen declaration matter when sourcing Korean cosmetics?

Regulation (EU) 2023/1545 expanded the list from 24 substances to around 80. Products placed on the EU market from 31 July 2026 must comply, and products already on the market must be compliant by 31 July 2028. In practice this means most existing Korean artwork needs an ingredient-list revision and, often, a fresh fragrance-supplier allergen certificate.
