What is Animal testing ban?

The EU prohibits both animal testing of cosmetics and the sale of products whose ingredients were animal-tested for cosmetic purposes; Korea has had a comparable ban since 2017. China's rules have relaxed so that most imported general cosmetics can avoid mandatory animal testing where GMP and safety assessment conditions are met, but special cosmetics remain more complicated.
