DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)

What is DDP?

The seller delivers to the buyer's address with all export and import duties, taxes and clearance paid — the maximum obligation on the seller. It is rare in cosmetics exports because the seller must be able to act as importer of record in your market, which normally requires a local entity and, for cosmetics, a local responsible person.
