Landed cost
What is Landed cost?
The true per-unit cost at your warehouse: ex-works price plus freight, insurance, duty, tax, clearance fees and inland delivery. Comparing suppliers on unit price alone is misleading — a lower FOB price in bulkier cartons can land higher, because ocean freight is charged on volume (CBM), not on the value of what is inside.
