What is Distribution agreement?

The contract governing territory, channel, exclusivity, minimum volumes, pricing policy, trademark use, marketing contribution and termination. For cosmetics it should also state who holds regulatory responsibility in the market and who owns the registrations — if the distributor owns them, switching partners later means starting the market entry over.
