FOB (Free On Board)

What is FOB?

The seller delivers the goods on board the vessel at the named port of shipment and clears them for export; from that point freight, insurance and risk are the buyer's. FOB Busan or FOB Incheon is the most common quoting basis for Korean cosmetics exports, and it is the term that lets the buyer nominate its own freight forwarder and control routing cost.
