Parallel import (grey market)

What is Parallel import?

Genuine product imported outside the brand's authorised channel, usually bought cheaply in one market and resold in another. It undercuts an exclusive distributor's pricing and is the main reason Korean brands try to hold a consistent global RRP band and control who buys in volume from the domestic market.
