How do I get access to the buyer platform?

Submit a sourcing request (RFQ) or create an account and request approval. Our team reviews your company profile — including business registration, target market, and sourcing intent — before granting full platform access. Most approvals are completed within 2 business days.

Can I see pricing before my account is approved?

No. Brand names, pricing, MOQ, and supplier identities are only visible to approved buyers. The public catalog shows product categories and compliance signals to help you assess the range. This protects supplier interests and ensures pricing is only shared with qualified buyers.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ varies by product and supplier — typically 300 to 2,000 units per SKU. Sampler or trial orders are available for some products before committing to full volume. MOQ and pricing tiers are visible in full detail after account approval.

Can I order samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes. Sample orders are available for most products. Sample pricing and minimums differ from bulk orders. Request samples via RFQ and our team will confirm availability and lead time for each product.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept T/T (bank transfer) with milestone-based payment schedules — typically 30% deposit and 70% before shipment. L/C (Letter of Credit) is available for orders above certain thresholds. Online payment (PG) is not supported for B2B orders.

What does the order process look like?

1. Submit an RFQ with your requirements. 2. We prepare a curated proposal. 3. Quotation issued and agreed. 4. Deposit payment and production starts. 5. Shipment arranged and documents issued. Approved buyers can track every step in the buyer dashboard.

How it works

What are the typical lead times?

Lead times depend on the product, order volume, and production scheduling. Standard products: 4–8 weeks from order confirmation. Custom or private-label: 8–16 weeks. Sample orders: 2–3 weeks. Lead times are confirmed in the quotation.

What Incoterms do you offer?

We ship FOB (Incheon or Busan), CIF (buyer's destination port), and EXW. Incoterms are confirmed in the quotation based on your logistics preferences and destination.

Do you handle shipping and freight forwarding?

Yes. We coordinate freight forwarding, customs export documentation, and shipping for all orders. You can also nominate your own freight forwarder — inform us at the order stage. Sea freight (FCL/LCL) and air freight are both available.

What export documents are provided?

Standard document set: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading or Air Waybill, Certificate of Origin. Additional documents (test reports, COA, phytosanitary certificates) are available upon request and subject to supplier availability.

Regulations

Do Korean cosmetics need CPNP notification to be sold in the EU?

Yes. Every cosmetic product sold in the EU must be notified to the CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) by a Responsible Person established in the EU. AAMOND Beauty can facilitate Responsible Person appointment and CPNP notification for products in our catalog. Typical preparation time: 4–8 weeks.

What is MoCRA and does it apply to my imports?

MoCRA (Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act, 2022) requires facility registration and product listing with the FDA for all cosmetics sold in the US, including imports. If you are the US importer of record, these obligations apply to you. We assist with documentation to support your MoCRA compliance.

Can products be certified Halal for the Middle East market?

Some products in our catalog already hold Halal certification. For products without it, we can coordinate the certification process with the supplier — subject to product formulation compatibility and timing. Add Halal certification requirements to your RFQ.

Are the products COSMOS or Vegan certified?

Certification varies by product. Cert badges (COSMOS, Vegan Society, Cruelty-Free, ECOCERT) are displayed on each product page after login. Use the certification filter on the product catalog to shortlist products by certification status.

Platform

Is AAMOND Beauty open to all buyers?

No. The platform is closed — full access (pricing, brand identity, documents) requires account approval. The intent is to protect supplier data and ensure pricing is shared only with qualified, verified buyers. Public visitors can browse an anonymised catalog preview.

I submitted an RFQ but haven't heard back. What should I do?

We aim to respond within 24 hours on business days. If you haven't received a response after 2 business days, check your spam folder first, then contact us via the support form. Include your RFQ reference number.

Can I compare products before requesting a quote?

Yes. Approved buyers can select up to 5 products and use the AI comparison feature, which generates a summary tailored to your target market and sourcing criteria. The comparison is available from the product catalog.
